Now she is more than two weeks with us and it feels as had she been always here.
The first short outside walk gave us a few fits because just in that moment we had been out of the door much noise started.
As we finally reached the field two little boys with a very old dog and a toy car came. Fascinating for Cherie. She sat down and watched it like movie and no chance to motivate her to walk on. Maja had been a bit disappointed about the short walk and that she could not jump and run. But we are getting better. Now I carry Cherie always a bit and Maja may chase around.
We know now tractors and cars passing close by and we know bicycles and joggers and other people with dogs and sit brave by Mom's and Maja's side.
The feel is a bit weird but we are not much scared.
Daily little battles:
To pick Cherie's teeth from:
my pants or shirts (instead of 100 times only 20 times a day)
To take away the hydro stones from the plant (instead of 5 times a day now 20 times a day)
To come when I call (working fine except a few faults)
To don't eat from Maja's bowl (is working fine)
To don't knock westie Leila down (is not working at all)
To lay calm for brushing is only working when she may nipple at my fingers (without not working good)
Here all DONT's we are working on:
Don't chew furniture and furniture knobs
Don't drag the carpet around
Don't pull off the kitchen towels
Don't eat dirt in the garden
Don't bark at me when I told you "DON'T"
I think she is doing great ... have had more problems with Babette. Cherie is like Maja and Fanny ... she is a puppy and of course she is thinking of how much nonsense she can do all day.
